Die Band wurde von Lead-Sängerin Michela Vignoli und Lead-Gitarristen Thomas Strohmayer Ende 2010 gegründet. Anfang 2011 stießen Bassist Luka Mikula und Drummerin Rebecca Raschun dazu. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit entstand eine bemerkenswerte Anzahl denkwürdiger Songs, die die Band nach wie vor prägen.

Im Juli 2012, nach erfolgreichen eineinhalb Jahren voller Live-Auftritte und Demo Aufnahmen, verließ Rebecca das Land. Sie wurde für kurze Zeit von Roman Dissi ersetzt. Schließlich fand die Band eine ideale Neubesetzung an den Drums, als Ernst Gumprecht im März 2013 der Band beitrat.

Im April 2014 verließ der Bassist Luka Mikula die Band. Nach intensiver Suche und während der Vollendung der Aufnahmen des ersten Albums stieß im September 2014 schlussendlich der großartige Gernot Schwarz zur Band, der virtuose und an NWOBHM inspirierte Bass-Linien in die Songs einbrachte.

Im März 2015 veröffentlichten Grim Justice ihr erstes, selbstbetiteltes Studioalbum. Nach einer erfolgreichen Europa Tournee und mit neuen Songs im Gepäck releasten sie ihr zweites Album The Return of the Flame im Mai 2018. 2022 melden sich Grim Justice mit einer neuen Single und einem Videoclip sowie ihrem dritten Album Release Justice in the Night zurück.

Grim Justices Lieder sind von 80er Heavy Metal und 70er Hard Rock Musik beeinflusst, vertreten jedoch eine eigenständige und unverwechselbare Linie. Alle Veröffentlichungen sind von der Band selbst produziert und publiziert.

The band was founded by lead-singer Michela Vignoli and lead-guitarist Thomas Strohmayer at the end of the year 2010. In 2011 bass-player Luka Mikula and drummer Rebecca Raschun joined the band. Quickly an astonishing number of memorable songs were written, which still shape the band's characteristic sound.

In July 2012, after a successful first year and a half full of gigs and demo recordings, Rebecca left the country. She was replaced by Roman Dissi for a brief period. Finally, in March 2013 the band found an ideal replacement at the drums when Ernst Gumprecht joined the band.

In April 2014 bass-player Luka Mikula left the band. In September 2014, after an intense search phase and during the finalisation of the recordings for the first album, the virtuoso and NWOBHM inspired bass-player Gernot Schwarz joined the band.

Grim Justice published their first self-titled studio album in March 2015. After their successful first Europe tour and with new songs in their backpack, the band released the second album The Return of the Flame in May 2018. In 2022 Grim Justice are back with a new single and video clip as well as their third album Release Justice in the Night.

Grim Justice's distinct and mind-blowing songs are inspired by 80ies Heavy Metal and 70ies Hard Rock. All their releases are produced by the band members themselves and self-published.
